The Queens Quay | Kitchen Reface & Custom Bar
This downtown Toronto condo came to Fox through Sandi Ester Designs with two goals: transform the existing kitchen and add a custom bar cabinet to anchor the dining space.
The kitchen was a reface — original cabinet boxes kept, everything else replaced. New doors, drawer fronts, gables, fillers, kicks, and crown moulding in Decotec Arctic Grey uppers and Tafisa Spring Blossom lowers. The result reads as a complete renovation.
The bar cabinet was built from scratch. Dark veneer body, bronze mesh doors, satin brass hardware. It's a piece that earns a second look.
The Wychwood | Navy Built-In & Open Shelving
This Wychwood home came to Fox through Megan Crosbie Design with a lower level that needed to work harder. The result is two pieces that feel like they've always been there.
The full-wall built-in is painted Benjamin Moore Hale Navy — open shelving above, closed storage below with custom rattan panel inserts. The TV niche sits centre, flanked by books on both sides. It's a room that takes its colour seriously.
Across the room, a maple open shelving unit in a custom stain adds a lighter counterpoint — same hand-built quality, different character entirely.
