The Lorne Park | Floor-to-Ceiling Rift Oak Kitchen
This Lorne Park home came to us through Basis Design Build with a clear vision: warm, modern, and completely seamless. The answer was rift-cut white oak from floor to ceiling — no upper cabinets, no visual breaks, just continuous grain across the full wall. Flat-panel doors and integrated pulls keep the hardware quiet. A white marble waterfall island anchors the centre of the room. The result is a kitchen that feels substantial without being heavy, and refined without being cold.
Light Uppers, Dark Island | Brampton Kitchen & Home Office
This Brampton renovation covered more than the kitchen. The main floor got a full rethink — starting with Benjamin Moore Ultra White shaker cabinetry, a Kendall Charcoal island with Cambria Quartz Swanbridge countertops, and a layout designed around how a family actually uses the space. The same team then carried that design language down the hall into a custom built-in home office — a full maple-topped workstation, storage tower, and floating shelves built into a corner that had been going to waste.
