The History of Fox
Three friends banned together to create their own company, Fox Custom Woodworks, with the idea to mesh fine custom cabinetry with great customer service and keep local woodworking alive!
Business did well, and Fox outgrew their first location, packing up and moving shop to the corner of Main street and Hwy 124, where they are currently still working today!
Since its modest beginnings, Fox has done everything painstakingly by hand. Over the years, we continually upgrade our machinery to provide our clients with the best possible solution.
Fox is excited to have Josh join the team. To keep up with increasing projects, Josh brings that extra level of capacity to the shop floor. Thanks for your commitment to quality craftsmanship Josh.
Fox introduces state-of-the-art measuring equipment. Every project starts with proper measurements. Adding the best in the industry equipment shows our commitment to getting it done right, and proving that local woodworking is still going strong!
Fox welcomes Kaitlyn. Superior quality designs and a strong online presence means having a team member with exceptional expertise. We're privileged to have Kaitlyn on our side.
Fox has been steadily increasing both in complexity of work, but in quantity, and we needed a new drawing software that would keep up. Fox is now capable of producing fully 3D true to life scale and production ready drawings.
The next frontier- adding 3D visualization to our drawing packages, ensuring clients get to see and understand the project- before its built!

Three friends came together to form this company, starting our partnership as a small local woodworking business. Growing steadily over the years, we serve new clients daily, some looking for a small repair or modification and others looking for complete turn key solutions. Through our time spent running Fox Custom Woodworks, we’ve been able to continue to grow and improve our services!

Tom Fox
Owner
Tom is a 3rd generation craftsman, we actually think he has wood in his blood! From solving tricky situations, to keeping the shop floor running, you’re in good hands with Tom as our President. There is nothing that Tom cannot build, and he values craftmanship above all else.
Paul Violo
Owner
Paul started his entrepreneurial journey as an electrical contractor and maintains an interprovincial electrical license. Customer service oriented and instinctive scheduling capabilities keep our projects on time and on budget. Serving as our Treasurer, Paul runs a tight ship.
John Shannon
Owner
John just gets things done, there’s simply no other way to say it. If we’re running behind or need that extra push, John pulls though every time. Every business needs that go to person and for us, that’s John. Acting as Secretary, John completes our company board.
Chris Denomme
The Installer
Chris comes to us with many years of millwork experience- which means that when he’s installing: he brings that knowledge to ensure the finished product is perfect. There is no problem Chris can’t find a solution to, and with a smile! He is a invaluable member to our team.
Josh Fox
Son of Owner
Josh, Tom’s son, started his journey in the fitness sector. Joining Fox in 2020, he brings a renewed sense of awareness to our team, both physical and mental. His ability to adapt to increasing demand with a state of calm is something we all should strive to achieve.
Kaitlyn Lister
Daughter of Owner
Kaitlyn, Paul’s daughter, holds a Bachelor in Animation from one of the leading academia. Her creative and software learning abilities are inspiring, and she dives right in to produce sensational results. Kaitlyn’s ability to make your design come to life will have you believing it’s already built!
Cathrine Fox
Daughter of Owner
Cathrine comes to us with a background in visual arts- making her the best colour matcher in the shop! She can blend wax together like a pro. She also keeps the back in check by ensuring everything is accounted for, and nothing gets left behind.
